In Why Social Learning Could Help Upskill Technology’s Workforce (Forbes, 18 May 2021) Amandeep Midha explains how to support social learning in the organisation.

“Begin by utilizing a collaboration tool of your choice for your organization and create channels where employees can share content. This allows the workforce to browse for information on existing threads and create new threads for new projects or questions. Most importantly, it will enable them to communicate with each other freely. Since everyone can bring their unique perspective into the conversation, people can learn from each other and the most successful demonstrations. With real-time notifications and the ability to add/tag people to relevant conversations, employees can reinforce each other’s learning because staying on top of recent developments on a thread easily.
