Many people recognise that they learn in many different ways – ie from the 4 D’s of Learning: DISCOVERY, DISCOURSE, DOING and DIDACTICS as shown on the diagram below.

However they also recognise they learn more in some ways than others.  So what percentage of what YOU learn comes from these 4 different elements?

Discourse *From interacting with others - in your social networks (eg Twitter and LinkedIn) and with your colleagues

Doing *Learning from the day job and your daily work experiences

Didactics *Being trained or taught or from (self-)studying
